Fourth of July is almost here. Why not relax at home during and have a barbecue? See how American Event Rentals puts together a fun 4th of July Table! How we accomplished this:

For this Fourth of July table setup we decided to do things a little differently. We were noticing that most of our 4th of July tables and memorial day tables were starting too look a little too similar. As we were trying to figure out whether to use a red or blue linen for this year’s table we thought “Por que no los dos?” Why not use both colors as the main linen? We put a Red Polyester linen on a 60 inch half round and an Electric Blue Polyester linen on another one. After, we joined both half rounds together and created a 60 inch round table! We put a Silver Sequins table runner down the middle to cover up where the 2 tables meet. This was done so it could have some sparkle just like the 4th of July at night. To keep the red, white, and blue theme going we added White Polyester napkins and white with platinum band dinner plates and salad plates. We matched the sequins table runner with our silver charger plates. Lastly we added silverware and glassware and a tall centerpiece with a matching ribbon!

Backyard Picnic Date

Backyard Picnic Date

Our 36 inch table is perfect for a backyard picnic date! It is not too big and not too small. We began this table setup with a 90 inch Black Gingham Linen. This ties in the picnic vibe just right! We decided to add color to this table by using a Butter Creme Lamour runner and Canary Polyester napkins. For china we decided to use ivory with gold band dinner plates and salad/dessert plates. As far as flatware goes, we like keeping it simple and used our Tivoli Simple dinner set. To give it a more picnic vibe we went to Dollar Tree and purchased mason jars, paper straws, a glass bottle and some cute yellow flowers.

Valentine’s Day Serpentine Table

If you’re looking to make your event stand out then our 6’ serpentine tables are perfect for you. These tables add a whimsical feel and you can arrange multiple tables to create arcs, half circles, circles and even a “snaking” S design.

Here we have used 2 of our serpentine tables to create the S pattern for an elegant yet fun table that would be perfect for Valentines Day. We kept our table simple with the black linen then added in a bit of class with the henna table runner. We chose classic red to bring a pop of color to the table. Nothing says I love you and Happy Valentines day quite like red roses do so we placed some faux red roses into the teacups for a unique touch.

Modern Thanksgiving Table

Modern Thanksgiving Table

Modern Fall table at American Event Rentals. We made it unique with triangle plates and rosette linen. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any other fall event! Modern Fall table at American Event Rentals. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any other fall event!  We decided to make this one more modern and different than the other fall tables we have done. The combination of the triangle plate with the square plate makes it look and feel unique and artsy. We dressed up this chocolate table with an elegant rosette linen topper. A look many brides having been aiming towards. The beaded napkin rings add a nice touch to the plain black napkins. For table decor we decided to stay simple with the candles and candle holders but added some fun texture with the glitter pumpkins and fall garland.

Outdoor Fall Table

Outdoor Fall Table

Fall table at American Event Rentals. Perfect for Thanksgiving party or an outside event. For our 2nd fall table we decided to go with something that is a little more casual and would look really nice outside. This table setup is perfect for a Thanksgiving party or any outdoor fall event! The chairs and centerpiece are what make this table look more laid back and relaxed for an outside event. The centerpiece was really easy to make and it didn’t cost more than $6 to make! All the materials we used were purchased from Dollar Tree. We bought a small candle stick and a 9″ cylinder vase. We glued the candle stick to the bottom of the vase to add more height to this piece. After, we got some hay and put it in the vase to add in texture. Instead of using flowers, we bought two bouquets of leaves to add it to the vase. We then tied a brown ribbon around the vase that we had found in our showroom. To add in color we decided to add in loose leaves and these cute floral pumpkins. We found an easy tutorial on Pinterest on how to fold napkins in a leaf shape. This was a really fun and easy table to create!

Warm Leafy Table

Happy Fall Fall has approached us rapidly but the weather on the other hand has just finally caught up. Here at American Event Rentals we decided to redo the showroom and make it feel more cozy & “fally”. Here is one of the first tables we did, warm, cozy & leafy. We started off with a chocolate linen & then went to Dollar Tree to find more fall decor items that can make the table POP. We found a nice red leaf table mat & we decided to pull from that concept and just focus on leaves. The vase from the centerpiece is also from Dollar Tree & we decided to continue with the leaf concept and use leaves for the vase instead of flowers.

fall-napkin For the china, we used our platinum band dinner plates. For the napkins we used Victorian Gold Lamour napkins. We did an accordion fold and then folded it in half and put it through a napkin ring. If we you don’t have a napkin ring, you can easily use a rubber band to tie it in the center. After using a napkin ring or rubber band to keep the napkin fold just tape a leaf in the center as the final touch.

chair-leaves For the chairs we chose to use or elegant crystal chiavari chairs. We used fishing line to string some leaves through the chairs. Adding leaves to your table can make it feel cozier and more into the fall season.

Mini Bridal Show 2016

Print

Just recently we had our Mini Bridal Show in our show room. We called it a Mini Bridal Show because it really was mini. We only had 7 vendors including ourselves since we had a really limited space. The day of the show it rained really hard! No one really wanted to get out of their warm house, including me. Although it rained pretty hard, that didn’t stop brides from stopping by and checking out each vendor. We had multiple raffles at the show done by each vendor. We had Nick Hunte at the show, who is a videographer for HunteVision Multimedia. Nick raffled off a coupon for 50% off any video package. This prize was a good one since it can save you anywhere from $350 to $600 depending on the package the winner selected. Sandra Nava who is a hairstylist & Karla Beas, a makeup artist, were at the show doing hair & makeup on 2 models. They raffled off a gift box which included a bottle of wine, a cute mug, a face towel, & a set of lashes! Who wouldn’t want to win that? Have you seen the price of lash extensions? They also made cute garters for the brides-to-be & their models turned out beautiful! Carol who is a representative for May Kay was also at the show handing out mini hand lotions with candy and was also signing up brides for their free facial. Her raffle prize was a gift basket that included lotion, perfume & more! Rita’s of Stockton had Rita’s on Wheels park right outside of the show offering free samples. Did you know they do catering? We didn’t find out until they contacted us about their interest in the show! Unfortunately, the rain was just too much and many brides didn’t want to go outside and get their sample but we guarantee you, their stuff is delicious! Frank from Exclusive DJ was at the show providing us with good music and some pretty nice lighting. He raffled off a great gift card & also handed out coupons for his services. Jay, a event planner, from Superior Events set up a beautiful purple table along with a delicious mini candy table. His raffle prize was a basket with candles, a picture, frame & a few owl goodies. Since we had limited space we were only able to display one table to represent American Event Rentals. We decided to stick with gold and blush as our concept. As our treats to everyone at the show we decided to make cotton candy, decorated candles, and a really helpful wedding guide. Our raffle prize was a really cute tea set from Home Goods & a makeup kit from ulta! We also had marshmallows, Rice Krispy treats, pretzels, a chocolate fountain, & our margarita machine serving strawberry slushies. Everyone enjoyed all the different sweets we had, even the employees! We’d like to thank everyone who fought the rain and made it the show! Hopefully for our next show we’ll have better luck when it comes to the weather. Check out the photos we got to snap at the show!

Little Mermaid Table

Make a splash with this Little Mermaid inspired table setup!

The Little Mermaid has been many girl’s favorite princess growing up and we wanted to bring out everyone’s inner mermaid with this cute Ariel inspired table. We had a lot of fun putting this table together.

Little Mermaid Table

What we used:

Little Mermaid Napkin

For the napkins we struggled a little bit to find a napkin folding that would match this theme. We went to Pinterest and found a leaf folded napkin and really liked the way it looked. We then realized that we can fold the top and round it off to look just like a shell.

Roses, Linens, & Napkins

Roses-&-Flowers-Overview

For this week’s table we decided to go all out with flowers and roses. We started the concept with just the beautiful rosette linen. Then we added in the crystal candelabra and realized it needed some color. That’s when the little flowers came into place. After adding in the china, glassware, and flatware we noticed that it still needed something to bring the plates and table all together. We then went to Pinterest and found an easy rose folded napkin DIY.
