Valentine’s Day Table

Valentine’s Day Serpentine Table

If you’re looking to make your event stand out then our 6’ serpentine tables are perfect for you. These tables add a whimsical feel and you can arrange multiple tables to create arcs, half circles, circles and even a “snaking” S design.

Here we have used 2 of our serpentine tables to create the S pattern for an elegant yet fun table that would be perfect for Valentines Day. We kept our table simple with the black linen then added in a bit of class with the henna table runner. We chose classic red to bring a pop of color to the table. Nothing says I love you and Happy Valentines day quite like red roses do so we placed some faux red roses into the teacups for a unique touch.

Our table setup includes:
8 Embassy Champagne Flutes
8 High Balls
8 White with Platinum Rim Cups

Mini Bridal Show 2016

Print

Just recently we had our Mini Bridal Show in our show room. We called it a Mini Bridal Show because it really was mini. We only had 7 vendors including ourselves since we had a really limited space. The day of the show it rained really hard! No one really wanted to get out of their warm house, including me. Although it rained pretty hard, that didn’t stop brides from stopping by and checking out each vendor. We had multiple raffles at the show done by each vendor. We had Nick Hunte at the show, who is a videographer for HunteVision Multimedia. Nick raffled off a coupon for 50% off any video package. This prize was a good one since it can save you anywhere from $350 to $600 depending on the package the winner selected. Sandra Nava who is a hairstylist & Karla Beas, a makeup artist, were at the show doing hair & makeup on 2 models. They raffled off a gift box which included a bottle of wine, a cute mug, a face towel, & a set of lashes! Who wouldn’t want to win that? Have you seen the price of lash extensions? They also made cute garters for the brides-to-be & their models turned out beautiful! Carol who is a representative for May Kay was also at the show handing out mini hand lotions with candy and was also signing up brides for their free facial. Her raffle prize was a gift basket that included lotion, perfume & more! Rita’s of Stockton had Rita’s on Wheels park right outside of the show offering free samples. Did you know they do catering? We didn’t find out until they contacted us about their interest in the show! Unfortunately, the rain was just too much and many brides didn’t want to go outside and get their sample but we guarantee you, their stuff is delicious! Frank from Exclusive DJ was at the show providing us with good music and some pretty nice lighting. He raffled off a great gift card & also handed out coupons for his services. Jay, a event planner, from Superior Events set up a beautiful purple table along with a delicious mini candy table. His raffle prize was a basket with candles, a picture, frame & a few owl goodies. Since we had limited space we were only able to display one table to represent American Event Rentals. We decided to stick with gold and blush as our concept. As our treats to everyone at the show we decided to make cotton candy, decorated candles, and a really helpful wedding guide. Our raffle prize was a really cute tea set from Home Goods & a makeup kit from ulta! We also had marshmallows, Rice Krispy treats, pretzels, a chocolate fountain, & our margarita machine serving strawberry slushies. Everyone enjoyed all the different sweets we had, even the employees! We’d like to thank everyone who fought the rain and made it the show! Hopefully for our next show we’ll have better luck when it comes to the weather. Check out the photos we got to snap at the show!

Roses, Linens, & Napkins

Roses-&-Flowers-Overview

For this week’s table we decided to go all out with flowers and roses. We started the concept with just the beautiful rosette linen. Then we added in the crystal candelabra and realized it needed some color. That’s when the little flowers came into place. After adding in the china, glassware, and flatware we noticed that it still needed something to bring the plates and table all together. We then went to Pinterest and found an easy rose folded napkin DIY.

Garland Table

Garland-Table

Lately many people have been using garlands for their big events. Garlands can make any simple table stand out and seem like there was a lot of effort put into it. It’s also an affordable alternative to floral arrangements. Garlands look really nice hanging on backdrops and tables and they even smell really good. Another plus is that they can last pretty long without going bad, meaning you can decorate around the house with them after the big day!

Here is how we set up our garland in our show room. We wanted to go for a fairy theme so we added a lantern and some lights.

Choosing Colors for Your Event

Pink Lemonade
Sometimes picking colors for an event can be really tricky. You have to make sure the colors you choose compliment each other well and not clash and be too much for the eye. Usually complimentary colors, colors that are opposite from each other on the color wheel work well. Analogous colors work well with each other as well, colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. So why not look around you and get inspiration from your surroundings? Use the season the event is in as inspiration to set the mood.

Here we got inspiration from many people’s favorite drink, pink lemonade! The colors here work well with each other because they are warm pastel colors. The magenta adds in a nice pop of color on the center piece and brings everything together.

Rosette Linen

Many people have really been into rosette linen because of it’s unique look and texture. When using rosette linen you do not need too much for decoration since the linen alone has a lot going on. It’ll transform any basic event into a beautiful elegant one.

Rosette linen can be rented at American Event Rentals as a custom order which only comes in select colors. It can be ordered as runners, toppers, or table cloth.
